The Bluffs

The Beach

The house is perched (28 steps up) above a spectacular beach. This semi-private beach is available to just a handful of residential homes strung along the coastline. It’s a mix of sandy (hard to come by in Maine) and classic rocky beach. As one of the easternmost points in the United States, the low tide recedes more than a 100 yards, offering limitless exploring of the tidal pools and coastal boulders!

The beach is a great location for catching a glimpse of the occasional seal as you gaze at the horizon dotted by a few uninhabited islands—all four seasons offer up nature at its extraordinary best. Great for lobster bakes, romantic walks, beachcombing and exploring, you’ll be counting the days until your next visit!
